The Metaverse Standards Forum Forum is a non-profit consortium where leading standards organizations and companies cooperate to foster interoperability standards for an open and inclusive metaverse. Since its establishment in 2022, and its incorporation in March 2023, the Forum has become a hub for collaboration and innovation.
The Forum focuses on pragmatic, action-based projects, including generating domain and technical reports, use case recommendations, pilots, testbeds, and plugfests. It coordinates requirements and resources to foster the creation and evolution of standards within standards organizations working in relevant domains.

The Metaverse Standards Forum has rapidly grown since its launch in June 2022, with over 2400 organizations now part of its vibrant community.
